Effective date: 16 October 2026. This policy describes Compuvilla’s returns, warranty and after-sales repair terms for laptops and other eligible products.

About warranty, returns and refunds

Compuvilla supplies laptops, MacBooks, computer components and accessories. Some devices may be pre-owned. Compuvilla’s standard 30-day commercial warranty for eligible laptops, including used or pre-owned laptops, starts on the date the customer actually receives the laptop (delivery or collection), not the date of payment or invoice. The commercial warranty runs for 30 calendar days from receipt, subject to product-specific terms disclosed at or before purchase. The store warranty applies subject to these conditions and any rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

No voluntary change-of-mind returns

Compuvilla does not accept voluntary returns or exchanges simply because a customer changes their mind about a working laptop that matches the agreed description and condition. This does not affect any right to return goods or seek a remedy under applicable law, including where an item is faulty, unsafe, unsuitable for an agreed purpose or materially misdescribed.

No returns after the 30-day warranty period

Under Compuvilla’s store returns and commercial warranty policy, no laptop returns or exchanges are accepted after the 30-day period measured from the date the customer received the laptop, including requests alleging that the laptop has developed a fault or does not match the description. After that period, customers who bought the item from Compuvilla may request discounted paid repair services, subject to inspection and an agreed fee. Nothing in this store policy limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Unauthorised opening, loosened screws and third-party repairs

Compuvilla does not accept a laptop for return, exchange or service under its 30-day commercial warranty if it has been taken to another repair shop for inspection or repair, opened or dismantled by the customer or another unauthorised person, or if even one casing or internal screw has been loosened or removed without Compuvilla’s prior written approval. This condition applies even if the laptop is still within the 30-day warranty period. Customers must contact Compuvilla before allowing another technician to inspect or open a device.

Compuvilla may inspect and document a returned device, including its screws, casing and signs of third-party work, when evaluating any claim. This commercial condition is subject to rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Please check your item on collection or delivery

Check the model, configuration, condition and included accessories against the product description and agreed invoice. If you believe there is a fault, missing item or description error, contact Compuvilla promptly with the item details and proof of purchase.

How to request assistance

  • Contact us on WhatsApp at 0803 348 5885 or email sales@compuvilla.com.
  • Provide your invoice or order reference, the exact model and a clear description of the issue.
  • If requested, provide photographs or a short description of what the device does.
  • Our team will advise on the assessment and the appropriate next step.

Assessment and possible resolutions

The product’s condition, applicable warranty, cause of the issue and rights under applicable law may affect the available remedy. Where appropriate, Compuvilla may discuss inspection, repair, replacement or a refund. Do not ship a device or return it to a third party without first confirming a return arrangement.

Discounted repairs after the store warranty

After the 30-day warranty expires, Compuvilla may offer customers who purchased the item from us discounted paid repairs as a goodwill service. Availability depends on diagnosis, parts and a written or otherwise clearly agreed repair quote. The customer must approve any repair fee before chargeable work begins. The discounted repair offer is optional and subject to any mandatory legal obligations.

Return shipping and refunds

Where a return or remedy must be provided at Compuvilla’s risk and expense under applicable law, the customer will not be charged for the legally required return or remedy. For other agreed returns or optional paid repairs, pickup, delivery and transport charges will be explained before the customer commits. Refunds, when due, will be processed consistently with applicable law. Please contact us to arrange inspection or collection before dispatching an item.

Things this policy does not change

This policy does not exclude rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Applicable product-specific terms will be disclosed to the customer at or before purchase.
