Owerri, the capital of Imo State, is one of the South-East’s liveliest cities and a major centre for education. Within a short distance of the city you will find a federal university of technology, a state university, a federal polytechnic and a federal university of education. Compuvilla has been selling computers since 2006, and we deliver UK and US used laptops to Owerri and across Imo State.
Laptops for FUTO, IMSU, Nekede and Alvan students
The Federal University of Technology Owerri (FUTO) is at Ihiagwa, and many of its students live around Eziobodo, Umuchima and Ihiagwa. Engineering and science students there use software such as AutoCAD, MATLAB and programming tools, so they need more capable laptops. Imo State University (IMSU), the Federal Polytechnic Nekede and Alvan Ikoku Federal University of Education have students who need reliable machines for assignments, projects and online exams. Tell us your course and budget on WhatsApp, and we will suggest suitable laptops. See current prices in our shop.
Laptops for professionals and businesses
Owerri has many offices, hotels, hospitals, schools and banks along Wetheral Road, Douglas Road, Okigwe Road and in New Owerri, Ikenegbu and World Bank. Staff at the Federal Medical Centre Owerri, civil servants and business owners all need dependable computers for documents, accounts and video calls. We will help you compare models in plain language.
Many Owerri students also share lodges where power can be irregular, so ask us about battery condition when choosing.
Laptops for coders and creatives
Owerri has a growing community of young developers, designers and content creators. If you code, edit video or design, tell us your software and we will look for a laptop with the right memory and processor.
Delivery to Owerri and beyond
We send laptops from our shop in Enugu in one of two ways:
- Mass transit bus (1-3 days), the faster option.
- GIG Logistics (5-7 days), if you prefer a courier.
We’ll agree the delivery option and pickup point with you on WhatsApp. We also deliver to Orlu, Okigwe, Mbaise and nearby towns. The fee depends on your location, so WhatsApp us for your delivery fee. Online customers pay by bank transfer, and we dispatch once payment is confirmed.
Our 30-day warranty
Every laptop comes with a 30-day warranty covering the laptop, its parts and its battery. The warranty does not cover the screen, drops or liquid spills, and we do not accept returns for a change of mind, so please ask every question before you pay. If you use your laptop for long coding or editing sessions, keep it on a hard surface so it can stay cool.
