Terms and Conditions
Your guide to our website, WhatsApp enquiries, product purchases and commercial terms.
Effective date: 16 October 2026. These terms govern use of Compuvilla’s website and commercial warranty, return and repair policies.
About Compuvilla
Compuvilla operates compuvilla.com from 76 Zik Avenue, Beside Ohafia Bus Stop, Uwani, Enugu, Nigeria. Contact us on WhatsApp at 0803 348 5885, by email at [email protected], or using the Contact page.
Product descriptions, condition and availability
Some laptops, MacBooks, parts and accessories may be pre-owned. Please read each listing for its stated model, specifications, configuration and condition. Photos explicitly marked as representative show the model rather than necessarily the exact individual device. You may ask us for actual-item photos, condition details and included accessories before confirming a purchase.
Online product availability can change. Prices and stock shown on the website are an indication of the current catalogue; our team confirms availability and the final transaction amount with the customer before a sale is agreed.
Website accounts
Customers may create an account to maintain contact details and review WooCommerce order enquiries recorded under that account. Keep login details confidential and contact our team if you suspect unauthorized access. Registration and account features are subject to our Privacy Policy.
Cart and WhatsApp enquiry checkout
The website uses WooCommerce to record an order enquiry associated with your customer account, then directs you to Compuvilla on WhatsApp. Submitting an enquiry does not collect an online payment, guarantee stock reservation or automatically establish that a sale has been accepted. A saved enquiry may appear as “On hold” in your account while we confirm the details.
Our team will discuss product availability, specifications, shipping or pickup arrangements, and the final amount before providing any payment instructions. Only follow payment instructions verified directly with Compuvilla.
Delivery and collection
Pickup and delivery availability, charges, delivery timing and responsibility for transport are confirmed with our team for the particular order. Do not assume a free or fixed-rate delivery service unless it is expressly confirmed.
Warranty and product issues
Compuvilla’s standard 30-day commercial warranty for eligible laptops, including pre-owned or used laptops, begins when the customer actually receives the laptop by delivery or collection, not when an invoice is issued or payment is made. It runs for 30 calendar days from receipt, subject to product-specific terms disclosed at or before purchase. Compuvilla does not offer voluntary change-of-mind returns for working, accurately described laptops. Compuvilla’s store policy does not accept returns after the 30-day warranty period has expired, including requests arising from an alleged fault or difference from the product description. Instead, Compuvilla may offer a discounted paid repair where available. These commercial policies remain subject to rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. If you notice a fault, missing item or discrepancy with the agreed description, contact us promptly with your invoice or order reference. Please also review the Refund and Returns Policy.
Nothing on this page is intended to exclude customer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under Nigerian consumer-protection law.
Opening, loose screws and third-party repair exclusions
Compuvilla does not accept a laptop for return, exchange or service under its 30-day commercial warranty if, without Compuvilla’s prior written approval, it has been taken to another repair shop for inspection or repair, opened or dismantled by the customer or another unauthorised person, or had even one casing or internal screw loosened or removed. This applies even while the 30-day warranty period is running. Customers should report faults to Compuvilla before allowing any external inspection or opening of the device.
Compuvilla may inspect and document the device to identify signs of opening, loosening of screws or third-party repairs. These commercial warranty conditions remain subject to rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Repairs and technical support
For goods purchased from Compuvilla after the 30-day commercial warranty, Compuvilla may offer a discounted paid repair as a goodwill service. Repairs, replacement parts and labour require an assessment and an agreed quote before chargeable work begins. This repair offer is optional and subject to any mandatory legal obligations. Do not treat an initial enquiry or estimated price as acceptance of repair work until the scope and cost have been discussed.
